Manuel Lopez was born and raised in Mexico City.  He resided in Seattle Washington for almost five years. He was raised by his mother, who is an immigrant from Mexico along with his stepdad, a retired police officer from Florence, Alabama. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the foundation because he has years of experience working with nine nonprofit organizations as well as startups from the United States. 

He is a junior majoring in Data Science at the University of Maryland Global Campus and he currently serves as the Director of Operations at The Bridging Tech Charitable Fund. 

In 2023, Manuel’s family decided to designate a percentage of their business earnings from their dealership, Americas Car World of Florence Alabama to support philanthropic efforts and nonprofits in the United States and Mexico.
